Happy New Year!
As we step into 2024, it’s important to reflect on what made the past year so special. Let’s take a moment to look back at some of our favorite moments of 2023.
Bradenton on 14th
In June, our Bradenton 14th St. community held a prom night for our residents and staff! It was a night full of dressing up, dancing, and fun! The theme was “cruising back to prom” and it was a hit! Pictured here are the prom King and Queen.
Charleston
In August, our Charleston community had it’s 4th annual Jeep Run for Alzheimer’s! There were 171 Jeeps, 300 participants, and together, we were the Walk to End Alzheimer’s top fundraising team in the region with a donation of $13,573! The Jeep Run participants gave ducks and candy to our residents on their way through and we already can’t wait till next year!
Herrin
In the heat of the summer, our Herrin community put on a resident car wash! The TikTok they posted of the car wash went viral, gaining over 5.5 million views! The residents and our staff were thrilled!
Bloomington Towanda Barnes
Our Bloomington Towanda Barnes community celebrated the grand opening of their Reggie’s Diner addition in October! Our residents have been enjoying it ever since!
Going into 2024, it’s exciting to think about our goals and aspirations for the year. We’ve been talking with some residents about what their resolutions are for the year ahead.
Here are some of their 2024 resolutions:
Gibson City
“To let everyone know how much they do for me and especially the ones here.”
Savoy
“To exercise everyday and try to keep moving!”
Bradenton on 14th
“To be on time for activities!”
Morton
“To continue to love my bride of 61 years!”
Washington
“To be more helpful to others and to smile more!”
