Happy April!🌷
Did you know that April 11th is National Pet Day? It’s the perfect time to celebrate the four-legged friends that bring so much joy to our lives!
Here at the Villas, we are proud to be pet friendly! To honor this special day, we’re excited to share some of our very own pets in our communities!
Lava
Bradenton on 14th
Meet Lava, our unofficial therapy dog who accompanies our Activity Director weekly to bring joy to our residents! She is a 3-year-old terrier/lab mix who enjoys visiting with residents, playing in the dog park, and showing off her wide array of tricks!
Lily
Monticello
Monticello welcomes its newest resident pet, Lily, with open arms! We are still getting to know Lily, and her presence is already bringing more joy to the community. We are excited to get to know Lily more!
Boots
Bradenton on 59th
Jim and Boots the Cat recently joined our community just a few weeks back, and while Boots is still a bit shy, she’s warming up! Jim, who rescued Boots 7 or 8 years ago, loves to pamper her with special treats. Boots adores snuggling with Jim when he’s sleeping or relaxing in his chair.
Abby
Savoy
Meet Abby, our queen of affection! This beautiful long-haired black cat is incredibly loving and well-behaved for her mom, Marilyn.
Oliver
Washington
Meet Oliver, better known as Ollie around here! Owned by Sharon, this furry ball of sunshine brings so much joy to our Washington community – we love having him around!
Cha Cha
Harrisburg
Cha Cha the canary is the first resident pet bird in our Harrisburg community! He gets lots of visits from other residents and is known for his cheerful temperament.
Our furry friends are not only sources of joy, but they also play a crucial role in combating senior isolation. Discover how the companionship of a pet can be a powerful antidote to loneliness for seniors, providing not only unconditional love but also a sense of purpose and routine.
